Ennio’s | Southampton

Ennio's serves authentic Italian cuisine in a historic Victorian warehouse with views across Southampton Water, combining fine dining with boutique hospitality.

Ennio’s is housed in a distinctive Victorian warehouse designed by Scottish architect John Geddes, positioned directly on Southampton’s historic waterfront facing Southampton Water. The building’s industrial heritage combines with refined restaurant aesthetics, creating an atmosphere of casual elegance.

The 100-seat restaurant has established itself as Southampton’s premier Italian destination, earning an AA Rosette and recognition from “Corriere Della Sera” (Milan’s leading newspaper) as Hampshire’s best Italian restaurant. This accolade reflects the restaurant’s commitment to authentic Italian cuisine executed with technical skill.

The menu emphasizes fresh quality ingredients: fine pastas made in-house, daily-changing fresh fish selections, and carefully sourced Italian products. The chef has created an extensive menu covering antipasti, pastas, secondi piatti, insalata, and dolce, with particular emphasis on pesce fresco (quality fresh fish).

Beyond the restaurant, Ennio’s operates ten superbly appointed luxury ensuite boutique rooms on the first floor, combining dining excellence with overnight hospitality. This integrated approach reflects the restaurant’s understanding that contemporary hospitality should be holistic.

Ennio’s represents European fine dining standards applied to Italian traditions, delivered in Southampton with genuine warmth and professionalism.
